Description of item:
The above item is a 1902 Elgin graved and triple cover cased 14K gold-filled pocket watch.
The front of the watch case has a Bordered Shield with engraved Horse Shoe outer border.  The back of the case has a centered flower with horse shoe style outer design. The outer case engraving detail shows medium. The dial has ELGIN NATL. WATCH CO in black script with roman numerals on a white porcelain dial that is in overall excellent condition with one minor crack below the 8 position extending across to the sub second dial and one below the 3 position extending down to the 4 position. The Movement is an hand wind Elgin Natl Watch Co 58431 non-jewel safety pinion #5167361. Inside Front Cover 2158431 with scales. Inside Back Cover 2158431scales. Dust Cover is engraved JFP 1902. Inside Dust Cover 2158431 lku102077cl.
