KICK'EN IT

THE ONLY REASON OI AM NOT CALLING THIS ABSOLUTE NEAR MINT CONDITION POWDER AND GOLD COATED STAINLESS STEEL 1992 T2 BULOVA OCEAN STAR ALARM CHRONOGRAPH  IT MINTS IS THAT SOMEONE CHANGED THE BATTERY A FEW YEARS AFTER MY PATRON INVESTED IN THIS BEAUTY AND USED LOCK TIGHT ON THE CASE BACK. FOR FIFTEEN YEARS IT SAT IN A DRAWER. I WAS ABLE TO MAKE THE SLOTS LARGER AND USED A WATCH VISE AND WAS ABLE TO SCREW OFF THE CASE BACK. THE ONLY DAMAGE WAS THE LARGER SLOTS AND SOME SCRATCH MARKS.

NOW, I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE CREDIT FOR DOING MORE THAN REMOVING THE CASE BACK AND FIGURING HOW EVERYTHING WORKS BUT THE ALARM, BUT I CANNOT. IT SIMPLY IS ONE OF HOSE FINDS W ALL LOOK FOR. A 20YEAR OLD BEAUTIFUL WATCH PLACED IN A DRAWER FOR NEAR 16 YEARS !

THIS BABY FEATURES:

DUAL MOTION AUTOMATIC TIME SETTING.

PRECISE SEC MARKER MANUAL SETTING

CHRONOGRAPH WITH ELAPSED 100TH/SPLIT SECONDS, SECONDS, MINUTES, AND *HOURS,

IT HAS RECORDING 100 SPLIT SECONDS, 60 MINUTE RECORDING SUB-DIAL, *12 HOUR RECORDING SUB-DIAL.

IT HAS A SIMPLE 1 STEP 100TH/SUB-SECONDS,  60 MIN/SUB AND *12 HR/SUB CORRECTION FEATURE TO RETURN ALL HANDS TO PROPER POSITION

IT HAS A SIMPLE 1 STEP CENTER SECONDS CORRECTION FEATURE TO RETURN ALL HANDS TO PROPER POSITION,

IT HAS A UNI-DIRECTIONAL GOLD AND BLACK BASE METAL ROTATING NUMBERED DIVE BEZEL

IT HAS ALL STEEL CONSTRUCTION INCLUDING CASE

IT HAS A TRULY FANTASTIC BLACK POWDER COATING THAT STAYED INTACT DURING AT LEAST TWENTY TIMES AT OPENING THE CASE BACK!'

ALL CROWNS AND PUSHER SEALS LOOK NEW

IT HAS A JAPANESE COATED GLASS CRYSTAL WITH SEAL

THE BRACELET IS BLACK POWDER COATED AND GOLD WITH DIVE SAFETY FOLD-OVER CLASPS

TO ME, IT IS AS GREAT AS MY SEIKO FLIGHT-MASTER.

NO,THIS UPDATE WAS CAUSED BY MY DETERMINATION TO DISCOVER HOE IT WORKED IRREGARDLESS OF THE FACT A MANUAL HAS NOT BEEN FOUND!!!!

IMG_5822.JPG (56850 bytes)

THE LEFT DIAL HAS 12 HOURS, THIS MAY RECORD CHRONO HOUR.
OR IT MAY BE FOR THE ALARM

THE RIGHT 100 SPLIT SECONDS DIAL, WHICH NOW RETURNS TO 00 LIKE IT SHOULD, ROTATES FAST AS THE CHRONO IS RUNNING WITH CENTER SECONDS RECORDING SECONDS.

THE LOWER 60 MINUTE SUB DIAL RECORDS MINUTES

IF YOUR SECOND HAND DOES NOT RETURN TO 12 POSITION

OK, IT TOOK 6 HOURS TO BRING THIS INFO..LOST OF TRYING.

THE ALARM I AM NOT SURE OF YET. I PULLED THE MIDDLE CROWN, WHICH I AM SURE IS ALARM, THEN PULLED THE SETTING CROWN, THE HANDS BEGAN TO MOVER CLOCK WISE FAST. I THEN PUSHED IN THE ALLEGED ALARM CROWN AT A TIME OF CHOOSING AND THE HANDS STOPPED STOPPED., THEN THE HANDS WENT BACK WARDS AND RETURNED TO THE PROPER TIME THEY STARTED FROM AUTOMATICALLY.. ON THERE OWN , SO I THINK THIS IS FOR THE ALARM ... AS SOON AS I FIGURE I WILL POST

IMG_5814.JPG (41897 bytes)

THERE IS A 12 HOUR SUB DIAL LEFT
I BELIEVE THIS IS FOR ALARM

THERE IS A 60 SECOND DIAL AT BOTTOM
