SCANDINAVIAN AIRLINES SYSTEMS WOULD OPEN NE ROUTES OVER THE NORTH POLE. THE PILOTS HAD TO ATTEND AN ARTIC FLIGHT SCHOOL TO LEARN HOW TO FLY OVER THE SNOW AND ICE, THE MAGNETIC FIELDS AND TO BE PREPARED FOR EMERGENCIES. THE INITIAL FLIGHTS WERE FRONT PAGE AND LIKE NIVADA CROTON, WITH THEIR ANTARTICA WATCHES, UNIVERSAL GENEVA DECIDED TO CASH IN ON ALL THE PRESS BY MANUFACTURING THE MOST PHENOMINAL WATCHES EVER MADE AT THE TIME; A MICRO-ROTOR AUTOMATIC PRECISION WRIT WATCH THAT WOULD RESIST THE STRONG MAGNETIC FIELD OF THE POLAR REGION. WE WILL NOT REMOVE FROM CASE YET. WE WILL PERFORM
OUR EXAMINATION WITH WATCH MOVEMENT IN CASE
WHEN WE FIGURE THE PROBLEM & INFORM THE PATRON
OF COSTS, WE WILL THEN TOTALLY REMOVE AND TEAR DOWN

ONE SHOULD NOT FORGET THAT THE TOP INCABLOC WITH JEWEL
SHOULD BE OILED AFTER SHE DRIES. BETTER NOW THEN AFTER
YOU REPLACE IT AND HAVE TO LIFT THE BRASS SPRING RETAINER AND JEWEL
THESE SMALL GLASS “DISHES” WITH ROUGH OUTER EDGES
